Reepham Fishery has a Match Fishing lake which can be booked for club matches from 1st March through to 30th November.
The lake is:
- 0.8 of an acre with 20 pegs
- constructed with a flat bottom 5 1/2 ft deep
- full of Carp to 5lb, Tench, Fantails, Rudd and Roach
The recent onset of the Koi Herpes Virus (KHV) in the county has required us to bring in very stringent bi-security measures to ensure the health of our Carp. Consequently we now provide all equipment that touches the fish i.e. landing nets, unhooking mats, keep nets and weighing bag.
Needless to say the increased expense in terms of equipment and maintenance effort has forced us to revise our charges.
5-hour matches can be booked for £9 a person with a minimum charge of 10 competitors.
The cost includes the use of 2 keep nets, a landing net and an unhooking mat provided by the Fishery
