Throughout October, fish were still being caught off the top with bread. Other successful baits were the stalwarts of sweetcorn and luncheon meat. Individual weights of up to 18lbs were being caught, one notably by Alan Roe. One lady angler topped her best score with a 10lb carp.

Although the temperatures dipped in November, the sun of the second week kept the water temperatures up and the fish were still coming to the top. Low oil pellet soaked to soften up, as well as soaked dog biscuits are doing well at present. Individual catches in the region of up 15lbs being caught, and smaller fish, such as rudd, roach and small carp are still to be coaxed..
