With the warmth of April we see the Match Fishing Lake coming into its own. A 5-hour match in May produced a winning haul of 122lbs+ with second place 66LBS+.

In addition, everyone is commenting on how many 2 inch Carp are showing up - bodes well for the future.

On the rest of the lakes, the refurbishment work continues:

• New pegs on Long Lake are appearing weekly
• Work has begun on laying out a continuous walkway around Long Lake to provide an alternative route around the lake thereby ensuring privacy at each peg.
